Act!

First, please consider signing our online petition on change. org.  There are several petitions currently being circulated by other organizations on the topic of Thrive Montgomery and the so-called "Attainable Housing" initiative, and you certainly may sign more than one.  If you do sign an online petition, be sure that your name is registered... every once in a while, a signature can be erroneously rejected.  If you suspect that has occurred, please contact us at rg4mc2050@gmail.com, or send an email to help@change.org.

If you do sign our petition, please consider asking your friends and neighbors to sign it as well.  Please feel free to share it on Facebook, Twitter, Nextdoor, or by email.  The more signatures we get, the more likely it is that we will be able to push the County Council to enact a good plan for Montgomery County.

Next, please ask the County Council not to move forward with "Thrive Montgomery 2050" or the "Attainable Housing" initiative.  There needs to be more time and energy spent to get input from more people and develop a good plan for the County's future.  You can reach the Council at the following email addresses:

Tom Hucker (current Council President):  Councilmember.Hucker@montgomerycountymd.gov
Hans Riemer:  Councilmember.Riemer@montgomerycountymd.gov
Gabe Albornoz:  Councilmember.Albornoz@montgomerycountymd.gov
Evan Glass:  Councilmember.Glass@montgomerycountymd.gov
Andrew Friedson:  Councilmember.Friedson@montgomerycountymd.gov
Will Jawando:  Councilmember.Jawando@montgomerycountymd.gov
Sidney Katz:  Councilmember.Katz@montgomerycountymd.gov
Nancy Navarro:  Councilmember.Navarro@montgomerycountymd.gov
Craig Rice:  Councilmember.Rice@montgomerycountymd.gov

You can also send mail to the Councilmembers at:

Please remember to keep your comments thoughtful and respectful, as that is the most effective way to make your voice heard! :-)

And please spread the word about this website and our Facebook group (Responsible Growth for Montgomery County).  Engaged citizens can indeed change things for the better!
